Fifth Grade Supply List

Dear Incoming Fifth Grade Families,

Listed below are items that we find useful in the fifth grade classroom. These are only suggestions. The usual supplies will be made available to all children. Students are asked to keep all necessary materials in their desks, so please keep in mind the size and amount of storage space. Soft zip pencil pouches work best.

School assignment books will be made available to all students.

We would like to encourage all students to practice their multiplication facts this summer and keyboarding skills with the Typing Club. This will help to ensure success with our 5th grade curriculum.

Glue Sticks
Erasers – Pencil Top
#2 Pencils – Ticonderoga work really well!
1 set of dry erase markers
8 - 16 pack colored pencils
3 - Two pocket folders, a different color for each subject.
Pencil sharpener (hand held with a top to collect shavings)
Sturdy Back-Pack
3 Book Covers – Size EXTRA Large
Soft zip pencil pouch, it is easier to store in the desk
3 Single subject notebooks (spiral bound) with pockets. This is for Science and Social Studies and Math.
Ear buds, if you would like, for computer use, for sanitary reasons.
2 black sharpies
Please – No Large Binders, they don’t fit in the desks

Rolls of paper towels
Ziploc bags (Extra Large 2 gallon size) as well as quart, sandwich and snack size
Purell Hand Sanitizer
