All students in third grade with an IEP have been put into the master schedule according to their service needs. Much of math service delivery is in third grade classrooms with pull-out service for reteach and reinforcement of pre-requisite skills. This enables teachers to have collaborative effort in teaching and supporting all math students.

Students have worked through multiplication and division in their classrooms. With support all students have become comfortable solving basic fact using manipulatives. Short drills and games are most effective to improve basic fact memory. Websites which support drill in a game-like manner are always encouraged. Several sites to explore would include: Math Playground and Sum Dog.

- Math folders have been created by Ms Nadeau for use in the classroom as well as the Learning Center.
- Students may use these as a reference to solve a variety of math problems throughout the year.
- Students have learned how to find products using the multiplication chart. Practice of basic facts is encouraged!
