Homework

• Homework Packets go home on Monday and need to come back by Friday. 

 This is a work study grade. Individual pages will not be corrected. Please make note if  a particular page was difficult for your child. All homework pages are review and should be able to be completed independently. 

• Fluency also goes home weekly and should be practiced nightly. Your child should read the passage aloud while an adult follows along. 

Some ideas for fluency practice:   

-You can track your child's improvement by timing them for one minute and marking where they stop each night. Notice the growth they make by the end of the week!

- Allowing your child to read the whole passage, help them with difficult words and asking basic story element questions like; who, what, where.
