2025-2026 is the 9th year for the Lancer Robotics team. Our first day of practice is Monday, October 20. We are excited to start the season!
2024-2025 is the 8th year for the Lancer Robotics team. 12 students were on the team (4 eighth graders, 4 seventh graders and 4 sixth graders).
Throughout the season, we participated in various tournaments across New Hampshire, including events in Durham and Belmont, and we proudly hosted our own tournament in Candia. Our students, coaches, and parents traveled two hours to compete at River Valley in Springfield, VT, where we faced teams from as far away as Canada.
All three teams successfully qualified for and participated in the NH/VT State Championship held at Manchester Community College. Competing with 39 teams from across the state, team 2701F earned the Teamwork Champion Award and secured a spot in the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship!!!

2023-2024 is the 7th year for the Lancer Robotics team. 12 students, in grades 6-8, competed at several tournaments throughout NH.
Our first tournament was hosted by us and was the season opener for the state, with 20 teams competing. Our second tournament was an away game at Oyster River with 50 teams competing! At this tournament, 2701E won the 2nd Place Teamwork Award qualifying them for States, and 2701D won the Judges Award. At the January tournament in Belmont, 2701G double-qualified for States and won 2nd Place Teamwork Award, as well as the Design Award. All 4 teams qualified and competed at the NH/VT State Championship.
It was another fantastic season!

2022-2023 is the 6th year for the Lancer Robotics team. 16 students, in grades 6-8, competed at several tournaments throughout New Hampshire. Four teams qualified and competed at the NH/VT State Championship. It was another fun season!
2021-2022 is the 5th year for the Lancer Robotics team. 15 students were on the team (3 eighth graders, 5 seventh graders and 7 sixth graders). This season, we were able to attend in-person events, and even hosted our very first Skills-Only tournament at the Moore School.
All five teams qualified and competed at the NH/VT State Championship. At this event, team 2701D received the Teamwork 2nd Place Award and qualified for the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championship, and team 2701E received the Judges Award.

2020-2021 is the 4th year for the Lancer Robotics team. We were fortunate to be able to host a team this season, despite COVID-19. 10 students were on the team (3 eighth graders, 3 seventh graders and 4 sixth graders). 3 teams qualified and competed at the 2021 Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship. Congratulations to team 2701B, 2701C, and 2701F!

In 2019-2020, our 3rd year, the Lancer Robotics team consisted of 9 students and 4 teams: 3 eighth graders in their 3rd year on the team; 4 seventh graders in their 2nd year on the team, and 2 sixth graders in their 1st year on the team. All four teams qualified and competed at the NH/VT State Championship. At this event, team 2701A (Keith, Max and Jacob) received the Excellence Award and qualified for the 2020 VEX Robotics World Championship, and team 2701B (Josh & Teagan) received the Judges Award. It was another great season.

In 2018-2019, our 2nd year, the Lancer Robotics team consisted of 13 students and 4 teams. We attended 6 tournaments and earned 13 awards. All four of our teams qualified and competed at the NH/VT State Championship. One of our teams, 2701A, received the Excellence Award at the State Championship and attended the 2019 VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, KY. It was an extremely successful year.

Mrs. Demanche, the Media Director, secured a grant to purchase a robotics kit and, in the fall of 2017, started the Lancer Robotics team with six 6th grade students and one robot. With the help of the Candia PTO, another robot was purchased mid-season allowing a second team to be created. It was a fantastic kick-off year with both teams making it to States and one team qualifying and competing at Worlds!
