Ms. Johnston is passionate about sharing her love of music with her students. She believes in prioritizing music-making in her classes and creates a safe and joyful environment to do so. She is entering her 4th year of teaching music, and along with her responsibilities here at AVS, she also works with the Pinkerton Academy Marching Band in the fall. Ms. Johnston earned her bachelors degree in Music Education at the University of New Hampshire and earned her Music Education masters degree at Gordon College. She is looking forward to many years of sharing the joy that music brings!
