Mosquito Habitat Mapper App
This is an exciting new protocol that is being developed by GLOBE Program partners around the world.
The Mosquito Habitat Mapper is part of the GLOBE Observer smartphone app, which is free for students and anyone else who wants to be a citizen scientist!
Thai scientists from Walailak University in Nakorn Si Thammarat have played a key role in developing this project.
Some EPTS students recently carried out a survey investigating students' awareness of mosquito-borne diseases as part of their M5 science project.
All of the information on this project has sadly been taken off. The H2You project was originally made to tell stories of water around the world.
The students that worked on this have left a website for us to checkout! You can find the website by clicking on here
What is the NASA cloud observation program or S'COOL?
It's a program where people all over the world works with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to help them study clouds.
It's simple. Just download the app 'GLOBE observer' on your phone. Sign in, and complete a questionnaire about the clouds truthfully. Then, press 'send observation'. NASA will see if the data they received from their satellites matches with your observation.
