Hi! Warmest welcome to the Climate Club! My name is OK (pronounced the same way as “okay”, but spelled without the -ay)(I know, “What?!”, lol), and I’m the Climate Club’s president for the 2024 academic year. And before you ask, no, the Climate Club isn’t full of climate related lectures. We focus on raising awareness about climate change through interactive and meaningful events with a warm and welcoming environment to ensure that we not only benefit our members, but also our community. The Climate Club holds a very special place in my heart and I hope it will give you the same valuable and memorable experience. See you in the club! ( And if you happen to spot me around, whether in or outside of school, don’t be shy to pop by and say hi!)
Hi everyone! I'm Aisida Iramaneerat, better known as Aiko. I joined the Climate Club two years ago and I'm honored to be continuing my second term as your vice president this year!
In rare moments when I'm not preoccupied with climate change or space debris—I’m a huge Formula 1 fan and will ditch (almost) everything to enjoy race weekend. Other than that, I love anything related to philosophy, cinema, and the arts.
The Climate Club has built a community where every student can make a difference by learning and contributing to the world around us. You'll always find us engaging in fun activities that will kickstart your passions and bring people together. I look forward to seeing you in our sessions!
Hello everyone! I’m Nuni from M.5. This is my second year as the Climate Club’s treasurer. However, I’ve been participating in climate club activities since M.1–in fact, it was the very first club I joined. Though I was initially lured to the club by the means of free pizza, over the years I’ve grown to appreciate the wonderful community we have here. I hope our climate club community can continue to grow, and strongly encourage any new members who’d like to join!
As a part of the public relations team, joining the climate club helps me get better at communicating. I joined this club because it gives me a chance to support important environmental projects. I'd like to know more about the issues and solutions related to climate change.
Hello! My name is Namsai, and I’m working on public relations. I enjoy reading, listening to music, baking, and crochet in my free time. The Climate Club gives me the opportunity to learn and gain experience. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this club and working with an amazing team!
Hi, my name is Punch and I'm part of the Climate Club’s 2024 committee. It is my first time as a committee member of a club and it made me feel motivated to the activities of the club. I'm always hard working on what I love to do and that is both the club and school. I will do my best so the club can be even more fun and creative.
Heya! My name is Pear and I'm managing the very website you're on right now. Currently in M.4 in the committee in the academic year 2024, but I've been in and out since I was in M.1 . When I first joined I wasn't really into 'climate change,' the concept always seemed boring to me. Well, being honest I only went for the pizza. Meetings after meetings past and I grew an appreciation and joined the committee. So yes! the club does make it interesting. In my free time I like reading comics and talking about my fixations, still desperately searching for more people who like DC... Other than that wishing for an awesome year ahead and very grateful to be part of this team! Also thanks for checking out the site I worked really hard on it. <3
Hi! I'm Phenthai from M.3, serving as your event manager in this academic year. I have a truly diverse range of interest, from climate to politics to science. Hope to see you around
