Task

You will be given different websites to go to which will help you study for the different parts of this lesson. You will also have to find your own website to help you study and share with the class. You will be given a test at the end of this lesson which will look like this:

First, you will have to write the name of each state

according to it's given number, along with it's capital. (Spelling WILL Count)

1. You will create a Google Document or Google Sheet and list all the states, their capitals, Region of the United States they are located, and the state postal abbreviation. (Make a copy of the sheet below) Google Sheet (You MUST make a copy or it will be deleted)

2. Use Google Earth to tour and mark U.S. Landmarks (i.e. Lincoln Memorial, Mount Rushmore)

3. Provide the Landmarks and Absolute location of the landmarks on a second Google Document or Google Sheet.
