ZERO PLASTIC OBJECTIVE

The non-recycling of plastic costs us EUR 105 billion each year at European level.

Majority of plastic products we use, and more specifically of the plastic produced to date, have not been disposed off in a proper way.

Unfortunately, a considerable amount of this waste ends up in our water streams. Numerous studies have shown that plastics are the most prominent type of waste found floating in our rivers, seas and oceans.

Focus of the project is find information on plastics and the need to reduce them, the environmental effects of overconsuming, and the need to reduce and recycle, as well as some instructions for recycling in the right way.

During our work we are going to use a special lesson format called WebQuest.

WebQuest is "an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web."

In this WebQuest you are going to explore "Plastic" from different points of view.
