About Us

Mrs. Cadwell

ELA & Social Studies Teacher

Hello! I am Mrs. Cadwell. I'm excited to be joining the 5th grade team at James Madison this year. I will be teaching ELA (reading, writing, and word study) and social studies. For the past 8 years, I was a 3rd grade bilingual teacher in the district. My teaching degrees from UW-Oshkosh include Elementary Education, English as a Second Language, Bilingual Education, and Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, camping, playing disc golf, reading, traveling and spending time with my husband and 2 dogs.

Ms. jetzer

Math & Science Teacher

Hello! I'm Ms. Jetzer (formerly Mrs. Weinfurter). I will be teaching math and science. This is my 26th year teaching, and it's my 13th year teaching 5th grade at James Madison.  I have always loved math and science, and I hope to show my interest in these subjects through the activities we will do throughout the year. I have two boys of my own: Jonah is 18 and just started college. He's playing football for Lakeland University this year. Jamison is 17 and is a senior at George Warriner High School. You may have seen him as a lifeguard at Blue Harbor this summer. When I'm not teaching, during my free time I bartend. I enjoy talking with people, and I find that bartending gives me that opportunity while earning extra money. That extra money goes towards my favorite activity, which is to travel. My goal is to see all 50 states. Only 8 more to go!

Mr. Z

Special Education Teacher

Happy 2023-2024 school year 5th graders!  I'm Mr. Zielinski, better known as Mr. Z and this is my 24th year of teaching in the Sheboygan Area.  I love to hike with my wife, 3 kids and my springerdoodle.  I attend Crossroads Community Church, am an avid fisherman, love to workout and believe that everything we do, or don't do, makes the world either a better place, or a darker place.  I'm looking forward to working with all of you this year!

Mrs. Fessler

Multilingual Learner Teacher

Welcome to fifth grade! Thank you for being an important part of our team. Although you'll mainly see me assisting/teaching multilingual learners in reading, writing, speaking, and math, this is not exclusive.  At times, I also teach and assist native English speakers through classroom co-teaching and small groups. My professional background includes a Master's Degree in K-8 Education with certifications in English as a Second Language and Bilingual (Spanish) Education. Outside of school I enjoy learning new things, cooking healthy recipes, tennis, yoga, and the creative arts.
