PLC is a conference held annually by graduate students and the Linguistics Society in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania. PLC welcomes scholars from across linguistics and related fields to both present at and enjoy talks at UPenn for two to three days in the Spring.

PLC has been a longstanding tradition of UPenn Linguistics and has been hosted nearly every year since the 1970s.

Graduate students and early-career researchers in computer science, neuroscience, psychology, and related fields who have an interest in language and linguistics are invited to attend the 50th annual Penn Linguistics Conference. Hosted by the Graduate Linguistics Society of the Penn Linguistics Department, this conference provides an exceptional opportunity to present original research, connect with peers, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in linguistics.

The graduate students of the Department of Linguistics and Organizing Committee of the Penn Linguistics Conference, in collaboration with related university departments and organizations, aims to continue the legacy of PLC in welcoming a wide variety of scholars to Penn for the conference.
