Visit to NASA Wallops, Tensile Test Certification
In order to get my piece design flight certified, I travelled to NASA Wallops to get my work tensile tested. The design of the work passed cleanly with no yielding in the designed pieces. The goal was 60,000 lbs. before yield.
The NASA presentation is a sum of all of the work from 2021-2024. The Pivot Design presentation was presented to NASA Wallops before tensile testing. The piece was certified.

As an undergraduate researcher I was put in charge of designing a PIVOT for the BLAST telescope. Working in this project I ran design and FEA studies on Solidworks as well as optimized it for the minimum weight for the telescope.
