I am an Economist/Data Scientist, passionate about developing data-driven solutions to business problems. I have +10 years of experience in building economic models, statistical modeling, causal inference and machine learning.

I have a PhD in Economics form the University of Pennsylvania. In my dissertation, I explore why many US mortgage borrowers do not refinance, despite seemingly having financial incentives to do so. I explore the role of market power coming from search costs in explaining this inaction. I use empirical IO methods to estimate an equilibrium dynamic discrete choice model. In another paper, which falls into Macro-Finance literature, I estimate the effect of refinancing inaction on monetary policy transmission. I was so grateful to have top IO and Macro-Finance economists as my dissertation advisors (Professors Aviv Nevo, Guillermo Ordonez and Benjamin J. Keys)
