Four Pillars of Service
Service activities at SAS can be divided into 4 pillars: Direct, Indirect, Advocacy, and Research. Different clubs prioritise different service pillars depending on their cause and mission.
Face to face interactions with your beneficiary whether this is through a virtual medium or in-person.
Directly aiding your beneficiary without face-to-face interactions.
Using your platform to help voice the opinions of your beneficiary whilst educating others about a social or environmental issue.
Conducting research to learn more about the beneficiary and how you can aid them.
Six Umbrellas
Our service community targets a diverse range of issues. Each service club's cause falls under one of six umbrellas: SAS Centric, Social Equity, Aid and Accessibility, Education for All, Environmental, or New Service Clubs.
Our Clubs & Service Portal
SAS currently has a diverse community of 40+ service clubs targeting a range of issues. Service clubs are student-led organisations with a unique, service-oriented mission. Through parctipation in service clubs, students are able to learn more about and service causes that they care about.
Our Projects
Service Projects are short term, student-driven service initiatives. Projects can range from holding a donation drive for a recent humanitarian crisis or creating a fundraiser to generate awareness for a social issue.
