Athletes at SAS not only face competition from local schools and community teams but also contend with rival teams from the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS). Since its establishment in 1983, our Eagles have achieved remarkable success, securing more than 250 gold medals. At SAS, we uphold a comprehensive measure of athletic excellence, valuing both on-field performance and off-field conduct. Our students dedicate themselves to rigorous training, all while upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity.
SAS maintains a comprehensive high school athletic program in accordance with the other IASAS member schools (Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools). The athletic calendar is divided into three competitive sports seasons with 13 different varsity-level sports:
Season 1: Cross-Country, Soccer, Volleyball
Season 2: Basketball, Rugby, Swimming, Tennis, and Touch Rugby
Season 3: Badminton, Baseball, Golf, Softball, and Track and Field
Additionally, ninth graders, junior varsity, and varsity teams compete in ACSIS (Athletics Conference of Singapore International Schools) competition, friendly matches with local schools, colleges, and community teams, as well as exchanges with other IASAS schools which are organized during each season.
