How to handle tools:
Clean tools after use. (To help tool effectiveness and maintenance and to stop plant disease from spreading.)
Sharpen tools when necessary or when they are dull. (A dull blade is more dangerous!)
Lightly oil metal parts. (This prevents rust.)
Store tools in a dry place. (Limits rust, mold, etc.)
Use the tools for the job they are intended to do. (to prevent injuries!)

Maintain proper posture and be aware of your surroundings (people, animals, buildings, etc.), to make sure nothing gets hurt.

Disinfect tools using rubbing alcohol.
You can remove rust by soaking the tool in vinegar.
