Overview:
The history studied in 8th grade is United States history, and spans from the settlement of the English Colonies in America through to the end of the Reconstruction Era following the Civil War.
Unit Packets:
Unit Packets:
For each unit of study, students will receive a unit packet that contains all their work for that unit. A unit could last 2 weeks or as many as 6 or 8 weeks depending on the topic of study. At the end of each unit, students will be expected to complete a cover page for their packet as well as one enrichment project of their choosing. Packets are typically worth 75-120 points.
