Sredno uchilishte "Petko R. Slavekov"

The school:

•  was founded in 1925;

•  is a preferred school by 430 students;

• Teachers staff is 54

• The school works in partnership with Junior Achievement Bulgaria

The patron of our school is the famous Bulgarian writer Petko Rachov Slaveykov.The school is working on the entrepreneurship education. For this purpose we are using the very successful projects of Junior Achievement, which help the young people to use what has been learnt in class in their practice and to understand what entrepreneurship is!

What are we doing?

Ø  We are solving business cases and role-playing situations from the reality;

Ø  We are doing exploration activities, that are part of the curriculum

In our school we are taking part actively in:

  The school radio

  European projects

  Trainings

In our school the students are not interested only in entrepreneurship. They are participating actively in extracurricular activities, just like the school radio, they are participating in trainings and they are conducting different celebrations. Our school projects are approved many times by EU and our students participated in „Erasmus" project called “Collaborative net against Cyberbullying“.
