Our 6th Grade Family

Welcome! We are so excited to be teaching your child this year! Our Sixth Grade Family includes ten teachers who work together to give your child an engaging and enriching experience. Your child is supported mainly by his or her homeroom teacher, or teacher of record. This teacher facilitates the connection of subject matter from each teacher to your child's daily classes.

Attendance: Students are expected to attend all classes each day. Attendance is taken during each class period. If a student is late less than 10 minutes, the student is marked tardy. If a student is later than 10 minutes, or doesn't attend at all, he or she is marked absent. For any absence please call the office and report it.

Grading: Students are expected to complete assignments on a timely basis. If they miss a day due to an absence they need to make up the work as quickly as possible, so that they do not fall too far behind. Directions are given for each assignment, and instruction includes material that shows students how to complete assignments.
