Classroom Behavior and Expectations
Follow school policies and procedures
When the teacher is talking/giving directions, you raise your hand to speak/get out of your seat.
The Teacher dismisses the class, NOT the bell.
Cell Phones: “Out of sight, out of mind”- meaning put them in your backpack!! If I see a cell phone, unless I've given you permission, it will be sent to the office.
Follow the Mr. Androlowicz’ Golden Rules of Life:
Respect yourself
Respect others/teachers/adults
Be on time
Be Prepared
NO FOOD/DRINKS/GUM- WATER IS OK!!!
Never Give Up
Consequences can be, but not limited to:
Waiting after the bell, as a class or individually.
Nonverbal/Verbal Warning
Behavior Write-Up
Cleaning the room for any mess you make
Call/Email Home
Detention (before/after school, lunch)
Class Suspension
1. Go directly to your assigned seat.
2. Complete Arcade Daily Planner.
3. Noise Level 3.5, you don’t have to whisper, but please keep it down.
1. Ask teacher for permission when appropriate.
2. Sign-Out/Sign-In when you leave/return and reason.
3. Take Hall Pass when you leave/return.
4. Get engaged in the lesson when you return.
1. Ask yourself- “Do I really need to leave my seat? and “Is this a good time?”
2. If the answer to any of the above is “NO”, ask for permission.
3. If you’re not sure, you probably should ask for permission.
4. In any event, Follow Instructions.
***DO NOT get out of your seat when I am speaking to the Class!***
1. During direct instruction, raise your hand to ask for permission.
2. During small group or independent work, clear to go.
(If somebody is there, do not go)
***NEVER Sharpen your pencil (or get up to throw something away) while I am speaking to the Class!!!***
1. Check into Scan Manager.
2. Show me (the teacher) your reciept and place it in the Scan Manager container.
2. Do not engage the teacher, visit with or talk to ANY student or disrupt the class.
2. Go directly to your assigned seat.
3. Get engaged in the lesson.
Level 1 Silence, No Talking.
Level 2 One voice at a time, wait to be called on.
Level 3 “One Foot” voice…How would you sound in a Library?
Level 4 “Two Foot” voice…How would you sound at a restaurant?
