Add site:.edu or site:.gov, etc. to your google search to narrow your results.
Works Cited page tips
Make sure information is CURRENT.
Make sure the information is RELEVANT to your research.
Check the AUTHORITY. Who is the AUTHOR? Are they an expert in their field?
How ACCURATE is the information? Check for errors, evidence, FACT CHECK.
What is the PURPOSE of the information? Is it bias? Does it portray propaganda or conspiracy theories? Fact, opinion, or trying to sell you something?
Think about all of these factors as you are researching ANY topic.
