Hi! 

I'm Mrs. Laura Fierro and I've been the credentialed teacher-librarian here at Rio for over 8 years.

My goal is to make the library a safe place for students to come relax, read, research, and gather with friends.

I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have taught a wide variety of K-12 students, including special education and english language learners.

Besides reading, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, camping, gold panning, and spending time with my family which includes 3 energetic and silly dogs.
