Late Work Policy

Turning in late work is better than turning in no work. Not doing an assignments causes you to miss an opportunity to gain knowledge, practice what you have learned, and prepare for future assignments, classes, and grade levels. Missing assignments show a lack of effort. Missing assignments will receive a zero and can severely damage your grade. (For example: A class grade of an "A" may drop to a "C" and a class grade of a "C" may drop to an "F".)

Late Work Policy:

I do accept late work, but not indefinitely.

No late work will be accepted one week prior to the end of the quarter/semester.

A late form must be filled out and turned in with the assignment. I will not check late assignments if there is no late from. (Late Form is included below.)

Assignments turned in late will have a percentage score only, no feedback.

Late work will be graded when I have time. This means it is my last priority.

Assignments turned in late will have a negative effect on your grade as follows:

• Less than one week late = Grade lowered by 5%

• One week Late = Grade lowered 10%

• One month late = Grade lowered by 25%

• More than one month late = Grade lowered by 50%
