In Episode 3, Meraki tributes prepare for a debate on the implications of technology and AI surveillance, discussing strategies and team dynamics as they split into groups to form coherent arguments. Despite initial challenges and feeling underprepared, our students emphasize the importance of both emotional and logical appeals in their speeches, ultimately aiming to present a strong case for their respective positions.
Episode 4 highlights the evaluation process of debate performances, emphasizing the importance of evidence and sources in supporting arguments, while also showcasing the progress made by our District Tributes.
College Classes
CCAP Students - ARC classes have not been assigned yet. Probably won't happen until August for confirmation.
Year 4 graduates - follow “Next Steps” so you can attend orientation and meet with a counselor in your HomeBase before their priority enrollment.

Graduation will be held on the Meraki field at 7pm on Wednesday, June 4
Rehearsal will be held at 10:30am on June 4. Graduating students must be in the Z no later than 10:15am.

The San Juan Unified food closet is located at the Central Enrollment Center (3700 Garfield Ave. in Carmichael) and serves families who are in need of non-perishable food items.
