Hello, students. My name is Mr. Stone and I am excited to be one of your teachers for this school year. I will be teaching Reading, Writing, and Word Work. This will be my 19th year teaching in Sanford.

I went to the University of Maine where I received my degree in Secondary Education. (This means I do not want to hear anything positive about UNH.) I received my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Southern Maine.

I enjoy golfing and putting together puzzles. I am also a fan of watching movies.

I am a sports fan. Having grown up in Maine, I am required by law to root for the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins …. I am a huge fan of the Beatles. (Children …. if you don’t know who that is, we have some major work to do … )

I also like to read. My favorite author is Stephen King.
