Library Guidelines

Training is required to check out the books from the library. This helps ensure the books stay in great condition and that many children of the Sandpoint SDA church can enjoy them. Some books may require earning additional badges before being checked out.

Books may be checked out for up to three (3) weeks, and each child may have a maximum of two (2) books at a time.

Books should be treated gently: no writing, tearing, or food/drink near them. Lost or severely damaged books may need to be replaced at the borrower’s expense or by a donation to the library.

All check-outs and returns must be recorded through our library system to ensure books are available for all children. Contact the HSC.

The library collection and guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect new books and lessons learned from library use.

While we value older titles, we will purchase newer-looking editions when possible.

We reserve the right to review and decline any book recommendations to ensure they support our goal of character-building.

Your Story Hours audiobooks are only available if we can obtain a subscription.
