The USD VICAM team was able to finish third overall in the Galicia Pre-Moot. This achievement marks the first time in a number of years that an American team has placed at this competition. 

In addition to placing third at the Galicia Pre-Moot, the USD VICAM team had two members receive best oralists awards. Partners Matthew Miranda, pictured on the left, and Joseph Doucette, pictured on the right, finished as the second-best runner up oralists in a competition that featured over 40 individual oralists.
