A program designed to increase student participation in the American Society for Composites Annual Technical Conference and to support career development in composite materials mechanics and manufacturing

The American Society for Composites (ASC) proudly announces the availability of student travel grants to attend the ASC 2025 Annual Technical Conference in Dayton, Ohio, from October 6 to 8, 2025. Awardees will receive up to $1,000 to cover travel expenses related to conference attendance and will also participate in a series of professional development and networking activities designed to enhance their experience.
This initiative has been possible thanks to the financial support of the U.S. National Science Foundation (CMMI Award #2530500).
Be an undergraduate full-time student pursuing a degree in STEM and enrolled in a two-year or four-year U.S. institution of higher education
Be a graduate student enrolled in a STEM program at a U.S. institution of higher education
Be at least 18 years of age (at the time of the ASC 2025 conference)
Must be the presenting author or co-author of a paper submitted and accepted for presentation at the ASC 2025 conference
Must attend the entire conference (Monday to Wednesday). Sign in/out sheets at the start/end of the conference will be collected
Must attend the professional development and networking activities organized for students before and during the conference
Must submit the Exit Survey and post-conference reflections
There are no citizenship requirements to apply for this award
Postdoctoral fellows are not eligible for this award
