Community School Team

Our History

Webster Elementary has been a proud part of the San Diego community since 1956. From the very beginning, the school has served as a place where children learn, grow, and build lifelong connections with one another and their community. 

Over the years, Webster has continued to evolve. In 2021, Webster embraced a new chapter as the Webster Elementary Academy of Science and the Arts. With support from a STEAM grant, the school broadened its focus to include the arts alongside science and technology, making sure students could explore and grow in multiple ways. Today, Webster continues to celebrate creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, preparing students for success in and beyond the classroom.

Through the Community Schools model, we partner with families and community members to ensure every child is supported, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.
