6th Grade Wheel - 6 Weeks
Intro. to Engineering is a 6-week course in the 6th grade elective wheel. Students learn about safety, measurement, how to work as a team, the engineering design process, and technical drawings while designing and building various projects.

7th & 8th Grade - Year long Courses
GTT Engineering Elective classes will combine projects from MESA, X-STEM, NUVU, and PLTW as well as other design projects that Ms. Takei provides. Teamwork, safety, the Engineering Design Process, presentation skills, and project-based/problem-based learning will be highlighted. Engineering II will build on skills learned in Engineering class from last year.
