Traffic Updates
Bay Ho Improvements 3 Project
Clairemont HS and Marston MS had some unexpected traffic pattern issues. While we were aware of the Pure Water Project, we were not informed of the Bay Ho project for installing sewer mains and laterals on Clairemont Drive.
The contractor is TC Construction and their project supervisor reports the work is moving faster than expected. That’s good as it moves us quicker from the Clairemont Dr./Ute intersection.
Schedule for the next two weeks:
11/6 - Project will close the Ute intersection at 8 am and have intersection open before afternoon pickup. Work will include paving the trench line on Clairemont Drive from Ute.
11/7 - No work due to polling location nearby.
11/8 & 11/9 - Continue trenching northbound on Clairemont Dr. stopping just south of the Balboa intersection. Ute will remain open for drop off and pick up
11/13 through 11/17 - Trenching on Clairemont Dr. northbound through the Balboa intersection. This portion of the job will be night work, so no traffic control during the day.
Pure Water Construction on Clairemont Drive
Construction of Clairemont Drive is slowly approaching Marston and Clairemont High School. Both schools will be more affected from December through March. We are including updates as they are shared with us. You can visit the project website and sign up for project E-Blasts.
Winter Sports Tryouts
The Fall Sports CIF Season starts on November 4th.

Play Boys Rugby at CHS!
The Honey Badger Club Rugby Team is starting practice on November 13th (Monday) on the Upper Grass Field at 4pm.
Rugby is an all inclusive sport that uses agility, speed, strength, and stamina. Never played rugby? That is fine, the first month of practice will be focused on basic skills and learning the game with little contact.

ATTENDANCE REPORTING
Check Attendance
Students and parents/guardians please review PowerSchool regularly to make sure the attendance record is correct. Over the past few weeks we have had many students out due to the flu. Some of those absences still need to be called in by a parent/guardian and excused as illness. To clear an attendance, follow the instructions under Reporting an Absence on our CHS Attendance Page.
