CHS Seniors Class of 2024
Welcome to the Class of 2024 Website
This site is dedicated to the Clairemont High School Senior Class of 2024. We are rooting for you, and hoping that you experience your senior year to the fullest. Go out for that sport that you always wanted to try, attend all of the fun school events that your ASB works so hard to put on, join a club, better yet START a club and leave your legacy for years to come. When thinking about your future, aim high and bet on yourself!
A letter from your Principal
To the Class of 2024,
Can you believe it? In a matter of months, your high school experiences will be memories; your life and time and what you do with both will finally be yours! Your time won’t be dictated by bells, people won’t be telling you to “get to class on time,” reminding you when assignments are due, or what you can and can’t wear; you will be deciding what path to walk and how to walk it. But before you get there, many great memories are still to be made this year! And, when you are missing the comfort of Clairemont, the messages and videos here will connect you with this part of your life that you will reflect upon for decades to come (hopefully with a smile). Clairemont will always be part of your life experience and each of you are part of ours; we truly want nothing but the best for you and will still be here to cheer you on from afar.
All my best!
Principal Johnstone

Graduation Ceremony Information
for Students and Parents
The Clairemont High School Graduation Ceremony is on Wed, June 5 th at 5:30 p.m. at the Clairemont High School Stadium. A mandatory rehearsal is currently scheduled for the morning of June 4th @ 9:00 am in the Gym.
Please read through the expectations carefully.
Only students who meet all eligibility requirements are permitted to attend the ceremony.
Tickets are not needed to attend the ceremony; seating will be first-come, first-served and Stadium gates will open at 4:15 pm.
12th Grade students participating in the ceremony should arrive at the CHS Gym at 4:15 p.m., fully dressed, ready to go; all graduates must wear their cap and gown.
Parking at CHS is available in the main lot, the street and the visitor lot west of the stadium. Families who have the ability to use a rideshare service on this day are encouraged to do so. Families who are driving might want to have the driver drop off guests at the stadium entrance and then go find parking.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. and will last approximately ninety minutes.
We have a photographer for this event. The photographer will take a picture of each student at the moment of recognition as well as many candid shots. The photos will be made available online after the ceremony for families to purchase.
We do not plan to video-record or live-stream this event.
Students should dress nicely for this event. The school dress code applies. Failure to follow the dress code will likely result in complete exclusion from the ceremony and there will not be time to go home, change, and return.
The turf field is brand new; stiletto heels are NOT permitted; wedges or block heels are acceptable. Students are encouraged to wear sneakers or flats.
Only designated staff and participating students are permitted to be on the field. This is applicable at all times (before, during, and after the ceremony). At the conclusion of the ceremony, students will meet their parents/guardians at the top of the ramp (SE corner of stadium). This means that parents will walk UP THE STAIRS from their seats to meet their child.
Balloons are not permitted in the stadium as they obstruct the view of others. Balloons should be left in vehicles.
Noisemakers are not permitted as they deny parents the opportunity to hear the speeches and the names of graduating students.
Pets are not permitted, with the exception of licensed and trained guide dogs.
Please leave our Stadium cleaner upon exit than it was upon entry.
Thank you for making this day positive and fun for all!
