Welcome to your first Scripps Ranch High School Annual Kick-Off - Please review the times below based on your last name (alpha) of when to arrive to school.
For example, if your last name starts with an "A" - arrive at 8:00am.
Wednesday, August 9th: 9th Grade
8am: Last Names A-G (AP Gay)
9am: Last Names H-O (AP Parra)
10am: Last Names P-Z (AP Hines)
Tuesday, August 8th from 8:15AM to 12:45PM
We would like to invite your incoming 9th grader to our Falcon PRIDE Day, this is our 9th grade bridging day from middle school to high school. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with student leaders, learn about clubs, student organizations, counseling tips, and learn about student culture at Scripps Ranch High School.
If you would like your student to participate, please complete the google form below and mark your calendar! Deadline to sign up is August 1st, 2023.
Check-In Station
Mandatory - First one and most important!
After the Check-In Station, you can visit the Picture, Library and Nurse station in any order.
School Picture Station: Take your photo for the school yearbook and receive your 2023-2024 school ID.
Chromebook Exchange Station: Bring your current Chromebook to exchange it for a new one.
All Freshman will be assigned a new Chromebook at the library before picking up their textbooks.
Library: Once you've exchanged your Chromebook, pick up your books for the new school year.
You will need to log into your Powerschool on your Kick-Off day to access your class schedule. We highly recommend you have this ready before arriving to Kick-Off.
School Nurse: Visit the school nurse for the following:
Physician’s Orders for Medication Inhalers, Epi-Pens, Migraines, Seizure, Diabetes, etc. will be collected here

Visit the finance office page, if you would like to purchase school swag or other items on SchoolCash. You will also have the option to make purchases at the finance window during your assigned Kick-Off day and then pick up items at the Pick Up Station.
OPTION 1:
Students and families will be provided a chance to make purchases online before their kick-off date. If you make a purchase online, your items will be available at the Pick Up Station. There is no need to stand in line at the finance office.
OPTION 2:
If you opt to purchase in person, be sure to bring your receipt to pick up your items at this station after you have completed your purchase at the finance window.
Bring a printed copy of your receipt along with a valid photo ID for both above options.
If a student wants to make a schedule change request, they must complete the Class Concern google form on their Kick-Off day.

Scripps Ranch High has one of the highest average daily attendance of all comprehensive high schools in the San Diego Unified School District. We are very proud of this accomplishment and really appreciate the support from parents to have students attend school every day.
