Hello Everyone!

As part of the California Scholarship Federation’s mission to recognize academic excellence and exceptional community service, CSF will now find volunteer opportunities for students! Please consider signing up to serve your community. 10 hours a semester will count towards the four qualifying semesters needed to be an Active Life Member to CSF! You must get your volunteer hours between now and the end of the semester (December 19th) in order for your hours to qualify on the Spring Application. Volunteering has countless benefits as well, such as participating in fun activities, getting to know people throughout San Diego and helping others in heartwarming and fulfilling experiences. Keep checking our website for even more opportunities, which will be updated every month on the 1st! The website also features more information about the exact qualifications needed for your volunteer hours.

Here are a couple very exciting opportunities around San Diego in the NEAR FUTURE:

• First Lego League

  • Every week from September to December 

  • Outside of school hours

  • STEAM Center in Scripps Ranch (located at LIVIA Apartments)

  • Become mentors for Miramar Ranch Elementary’s First Lego League Team! Assist the kids in learning about robotics, teamwork, and STEAM.

  • Many different times and locations throughout San Diego in the month of September!
