Scripps Ranch High School believes that having a school community where your child feels safe and respected is an essential foundation for their academic success. That is why Scripps Ranch High School will participate in No Place for Hate®, a national program supporting schools in their commitment to celebrating diversity, promoting respect for differences, and challenging bias and bullying at all levels.
Developed by the ADL, a leading anti-hate organization that has worked for over a century to “secure justice and fair treatment to all,” No Place for Hate will help us incorporate new anti-bias and bullying prevention resources into our existing programs in order to have one consistent message of inclusivity.
You and your child can help support our No Place for Hate program in a number of ways:
Have your student join our No Place for Hate Committee to help oversee the program, assess school climate, and plan or volunteer at No Place for Hate events!
Sign the No Place for Hate Pledge along with your child to commit to challenging bias and bullying!
Practice No Place for Hate at home! For family resources on challenging bullying and bias, visit https://www.adl.org/education-and-resources/resources-for-educators-parents-families.
To learn more or to get involved with No Place for Hate at Scripps Ranch High School, please contact Josh Rosenberg, jrosenberg@sandi.net. With your help, we will make our school community a safe and welcoming space for all.
Scripps Ranch High School’s AFJROTC offers great opportunities for all cadets to participate in highly competitive teams, community volunteer opportunities, social activities, and leadership and educational camps. Our academic team has won the national championship the past three years and the Cyber Patriot Team is highly ranked in the nation.
We have over 80 cadets that participate and regularly compete and win in armed, unarmed, saber, and color guard competitions in San Diego and Southern California. We participate in community service activities such as feeding the less fortunate and food drives.
Cadets are offered through our military affiliation the opportunity to attend flight school and gain their pilot’s license, attend leadership camps and STEM camps free-of-charge, and appointments to the USAF academy, West Point, and the Naval Academy through AFJROTC.
