Every student will be assigned an eclectic schedule of master classes, including styles such as hip hop, contemporary, Afro-Brazilian, ballet, jazz, Flamenco, and more! Groups will be assigned during registration on Saturday morning.
Both nights of the festival will host a fully produced showcase that features attending groups, with half of the groups performing on Saturday night and half of the groups performing on Sunday night. Each group will be assigned a 30-minute technical rehearsal on the stage, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:45 PM, on the assigned performance day.
Once you have been accepted to the festival, you will receive a technical needs form.
Each group will also perform in a large group choreography with students from around the county. Rehearsal and performance will be the OPPOSITE day of your assigned performance from 2:45-4:45. Participating groups will receive more information before the SDYDF.
