Older Promethean Boards and New Promethean Boards are basically like a mouse--they control your computer with the ActivPen when you plug them in.

Printer should be plugged in and in sleep mode. Push the button on top of the printer to wake it up.
If the printer has been unplugged, please follow these directions.
If the printer does not show up on your tablet or student Windows computer, you can add it using this job aid.
If students have Chromebooks, have them share their documents with their teachers in order to print.
If students all share documents into one Google folder, all docs could be printed in a batch. Please use these instructions to do this.
Is your ActivPen not working?
The newer boards have a power button on the side (pictured)
They glow green when they are on.
If your pen is not working, check the button--if it is RED, that means your board is not turned on!
Press the button to turn it green.
Check to make sure the black USB is plugged into your computer
If it is, try unplugging and re-plugging it
You can also try unplugging it or re-plugging it into another USB port

Is the Port Replicator turned on? There is a round on-button on the top of the port replicator.
