Begin by logging in to Professional Learning using your credentials.
Navigate to the Home dashboard and locate the My Courses box.
Click on My Transcript from the options provided.
Scroll down to access your transcript, which displays a list of the courses you have completed. If you don't see the course list, click on the All or Staff Development tab.
IMPORTANT: Your course registration status must be marked as "completed" for you to be able to print your certificate.
Locate your specific course by using the Course Title column, which will help you identify the Micro-Credential level you took.
On the same row of the course you took, you will find a series of numbers beneath the Certificate # column; this will be a blue hyperlink. Click on this link.
Allow a few seconds for the webpage to reload. You might observe the page loading icon spinning; this is normal—please avoid refreshing the page. Once the page finishes loading, your certificate of completion will be visible.
Once the certificate is displayed, you can download it in PDF format, or print it for your personal records.
Below are some FAQs about the Micro-Credential. If you are unable to find the information you are looking for, please contact lthurman@sandi.net to ask your specific question.
1. Can I earn CEUs for Ethnic Studies Micro-Credential?
CEUs can only be earned for hours completed after an on-site duty day. Micro-Credentials held during the school day are ineligible for CEUs as per SDEA contract guidelines. 2. Will I get compensated for attending a Micro-Credential during the school year?
If you attend a Micro-Credential during instructional time, we will cover your substitute. However, there is no timesheet compensation opportunity for the Micro-Credential during the school year, as sessions are no longer offered after school or on weekends.

2. This is my first Micro-Credential in Ethnic Studies, what courses am I eligible to register in?
Educators who are beginning their Micro-Credential journey are eligible to register for Levels 1 or 2. Upon completion of both levels, you are eligible to register for Level 3, and must complete the previous levels to register for levels 4 and 5.
3. Why can’t I register for Levels 3, 4 or 5?
These trainings have prerequisites. You must complete the previous levels before you can register. If you feel that this is an error and the system has not recognized the completion of previous training sessions, please contact Sharon Apple, sapple@sandi.net to resolve this issue.
4. The class is full, should I join the waitlist?
Yes, we encourage interested individuals to join the waitlist as long as there are available spots. There are often last-minute drops, and you may still be able to attend and receive credit. If you are on the waitlist, assume you are registered and still attend the training on the scheudled date.

Micro-Credential sessions are most frequently hosted at Lincoln High School, but may also occur at other campus locations and community venues.
3. Will there be lunch provided?
Although lunch is not provided by our team, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and lunch to the training. There will be a microwave and refrigerator on site for your use. If time permits, you may also have lunch in the community; ask workshop facilitators for local recommendations.
4. How many sessions must I attend to earn a Micro-Credential?

6. I missed training after I registered for a session, what will happen to my professional learning record?
If you are a no-show after the first day of training and have not communicated with our team OR have not unregistered yourself from the Professional Learning system, you will be marked as absent. The system will log your participation in that level of training as incomplete. You will have ample time to re-register for a future session to ensure you get completion credit and continue through the other levels of training. Receiving an incomplete will not affect your ability to re-register and continue training.

Resources and documents are curated throughout the Micro-Credential on a Google document that will be shared with participants via a follow-up email after the Micro-Credential.
