This interactive session will equip you with the skills and the tools needed to create your own chatbot. You might choose to design a chatbot to tutor students, one that meets the unique needs of your learners, or you might design a chatbot to act as your own personal teaching assistant, one that can make your teaching life easier. It’s fun and free! No programming knowledge is required. We will start with a design framework and tool kit created by the Stanford Accelerator for Learning and the Stanford d.school team. You will be guided through the process of crafting a personalized chatbot. You will learn about prompt design and key elements such as conversation flow, user intents, starter messages, and strategies to support your chatbot to consistently deliver high-quality responses that will better support your learners. Join me on this AI adventure in the art of chatbot design! Attendees will get a Chatbot Design Template that they can remix.
