How can you be successful if you don't know what you need to do? Most people do not make the time to organize themselves but it is critical to working effectively!



Knowing What To Do:

  • You must write down your assignments and when they are due. Don't stress your brain trying to remember all those details!

  • You can write it in a planner/agenda/notebook - something you will look at each day.

  • You can also write it in your phone as a note or reminder or to-do list.

  • You can also take a picture of the assignment and use the photo gallery as your reminder.

Knowing Where To Find Your Work:

  • Does your backpack look like a bomb exploded? Time to clean up! Good to do this weekly.

  • Dump everything out of your backpack - yes, EVERYTHING.

  • Make 4 piles:

          • garbage = throw away what you don't need!

          • work to turn in = get credit for work you've already done!

          • work to complete = put these in a folder to complete after done cleaning!

          • work to save = store these neatly at home or in your backpack!
