2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR WORK PERMIT PROCESS (begins August 11, 2025)
To get a work permit please follow this process, and be aware work permits are regulated by the state so it is a lengthy process. It is impossible to request a work permit on Friday and get it for that weekend. Plan ahead and patience is key!
To renew work permits the same process must be followed all over again!
1. Student must have job offer from an employer
2. Student downloads this form *Must have Social Security Number to
process
3. Student signs form and gets form signed and filled out by employer and parent/guardian
4. Student brings form to the Counseling Secretary preferably during student lunch
5. Mr. Rascon (Counseling Secretary) will enter information from the application into
Powerschool for district review
6. Student will receive a pass from Counseling when the permit is ready during lunch ONLY
7. Work permits are taking anywhere from 2-5 business days to process but could take longer due to unforeseen delays.
