Cornerstone Counseling Services

The Cornerstone Program is a SchooLink Mental Health Provider proudly serving 14 schools within the San Diego Unified School District.  Cornerstone clinicians and family support partners are able to provide services in the home, office, community, and school site for students who have Medi-Cal or are uninsured.  In accordance with County and State health guidelines, telephone and video-based services are also provided.   

Cornerstone Program provides: 

*Individual Therapy   *Family Therapy 

*Parent Education and Support 

*Case Management 

*Group Services *Psychiatric Services

At Cornerstone, family-focused treatment services are a priority.  Families are strongly encouraged to participate in their children’s services as studies show that family participation supports improved outcomes and longer lasting positive change.  

Students ages 5 to 21 can be referred.  

Please have student Medi-Cal number available when calling to make a referral.  You can contact the Cornerstone Office at 619-640-3266 Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm to make a referral over the phone.

Support for Grieving Children


The Elizabeth Hospice offers peer support groups for children, ages 3 to 17, facing grief and loss after the death of their loved ones. The program is offered free of charge and open to everyone in the community.
