Mira Mesa High School Library & Innovation Center
The Destiny website provides a quick reference to find our SDUSD databases as well as see what you have checked out and due dates for library books. If accessing the databases from somewhere other than campus, you will need to get the logon and password from your teacher or Mrs. Reeves in the library.
Follett Destiny Discover® provides one discovery interface for students and educators to search and access all the print and digital resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, and interactive books, as well as free and paid subscription databases. You can also use Destiny Discover to place a hold on a book to pick up from the library within 7 days.
For the 2021-2022 school year, the MMHS Library hours are:
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm *closed for Mrs. Reeves' lunch the first half of 4th period (11:45am-12:15pm).
*Occasionally the library is closed for events or testing.
The newly remodeled Mira Mesa high school library/innovation center is a large and bright quiet space to study and work. Students may come to the library to use the computers, checkout materials, or work. Anyone using the library during class time must have a pass from their teacher or be wearing their lanyard showing they have a free period or college class.
Teachers may come to the library for any of the same services for students.
Library Materials Checkout Policies
Students may checkout up to 5 items for 3 weeks at a time. Renewals include an additional 3 weeks beyond the original due date as long as there is no one waiting for the item. Please be responsible and return them on time for others to use.
Your current student photo ID card serves as your library card. It is used to check out any library book, textbook or other class material.
If you lose your student ID card, you can go to the Financial Office to pay for a replacement and then go to the office during lunch to have your new ID card printed.
