Xello is an application where students can research colleges, majors, search for scholarships, complete career interest surveys, and create a resume. This is also where seniors will request transcripts and connect to Common Application (if applying to Common App colleges). There are many more features to this program, so check it out!
You can login to Xello from Clever. Make sure you use your district credentials and click on the Xello icon once you've logged in.
Mrs. Hight will send out all transcripts to the college you indicated on the Google Form survey you submitted in May. Transcripts will be updated after all college grades have been added to the high school transcripts and are "processed".
Your status on Xello will still indicate that your request is being processed until Mrs. Hight is able to send them out and change that status. Xello will tell you to reach out to your counselor if the status does not change in 48 hours. Counselors do not send out transcripts unless you are going to a private Common Application college.
Mrs. Hight will send out emails to seniors to notify you when your transcript was submitted to your college.
Select Goals and Plans
Next to College Planning select Manage
Next to College Applications select Create New Application
Type in the college/university you applied to or plan to attend
Click "Select" next to your college/university then select Next at the lower right corner
On the next screen input the Admission Type (most likely "Regular Decision"
Input the Application Deadline then select "Create." Note: you will not be able to input a date from the past. You can just put today's date.
*You will need to do steps 1-7 to add multiple colleges.
Select College Planning. You will see all colleges you added.
To send a transcript, select the desired college.
Under "Application Checklist," select "Request".
You will then get a message stating your "high school is processing your transcript.
Contact Mrs. Hight in the Counseling Office if the transcript request status has not changed in two days.
