Academics 

You MUST be enrolled in each of the cohorted classes for your grade level. Additional courses you wish to take must be scheduled around the MedTech required courses. 

You are also expected to attend all MedTech field trip and required activities. If you feel that you are unable to miss school for a scheduled field trip, internship, mentoring appointment, etc., you must make arrangements with the sponsoring teacher to arrange an alternative assignment. 

During their senior year, students are expected to participate in an end of the year exhibition that reflects on their high school academy achievements. Seniors are also required to take part in a Senior Internship where they will be paired with a community partner (likely off-site) and will participate in supervised internship activities and duties.

All academy students are encouraged to complete community service hours (10 hours in 9th and 10th grade, 20 hours in 11th grade, and 40 hours in 12th grade) and submitting documentation of hours to the MedTech Coordinator.
