Here at Lewis Middle School, your counselors are working hard to provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. We are committed to being an advocate for students and strive to provide support to maximize student potential and success.
At Lewis Middle School we provide comprehensive school counseling services through classroom guidance lessons, small group supports, and on an individual basis. We also work in partnership with Cornerstone Pathways, SDUSD MHRS, and SAY San Diego to offer resources for therapeutic care for students and their families. For more information contact your child's counselor.
Tips for Students
How does a student get to see a School Counselor?
A student should fill out a "Student Services Request form." The form is located on the Lewis Website from the STUDENTS drop down menu. Students can also request via their teacher, visiting the main office. The School Counselor will then send for the student at the most convenient time for which meets the students need an minimizes disruption to classroom instruction. In any emergency, a student may ask their teacher for a "pass" to see their School Counselor.
