Students will conduct in-depth research about the root causes of homelessness and analyze the risk factors of homelessness in order to understand how systemic failures contribute to and exacerbate the problem.

Students will conduct interviews with clients of Humble Design to further explore the issues surrounding homelessness. They will work with Humble Design to identify and create specific types of furnishings for individuals in their program.

Based on their research and their interviews students will identify specific areas of need related to homelessness. Then each student team will create an advocacy project for the local community that addresses the issue with a sustainable solution.
