Life Cycle Plant Project

First, students will visit the school garden in order to investigate what kind of plants do we have in the garden.

Then, students will do a research about the plant they picked from the garden and then they will create a book with relevant information, drawings and the stages of the plant’s life cycle.

Last, students will investigate the stages of the life cycle of the plants (stems, seeds, roots, leaves, flowers,fruits, food, growth, and reproduction.)

Writing

Students will create a booklet using the Google Slides.

Students will need to include these questions on each slide.

• What does your plant need to survive and grow?
• What nutrients does your plants need?
• What type of environment does your plant like to live?
• What does your plant produce, a fruit or vegetable?
• What type of consumer does your plant attract with its fruit or vegetable?
• Who pollinates your plant?
• What else is important to know about your plant?
