get your child tested for covid-19 at ibarra for free!

WHEN IS TESTING?

Our next testing day is MONDAY MARCH 1st, 2021 from 12pm-3pm. Testing will occur every two weeks on Monday. If there is a holiday or a vacation we will skip that testing day.

WHERE IS FREE TESTING?

The free testing is available at our school, Ibarra.

WHO CAN BE TESTED?

Any student who is going on campus at Ibarra for learning may be tested. Siblings, family members and parents CANNOT be tested. If your student is not participating in Phase One Learning then testing isn't available for your student just yet. The student must be in good health and cannot be quarantining for any reason.

HOW DOES MY CHILD GET TESTED?

Use the QR CODE or click here for an appointment.

Set up the parent's MyCHART account here.

Fill out the two consent forms available at school.

WILL WE HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY TIME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.

No. The first time requires the most time. After that making an appointment gets even easier. We will help you make your appointment. Just contact us at your convenience (our contact info is listed below).

CAN MY CHILD GET TESTED WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT?

No. You must have an appointment. Schedule your appointment ASAP!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

It is 100% free for our families.

WHO PROVIDES THE TESTING?

UCSD Medical team provides the testing. They come during our scheduled time and set-up just for our staff and students.

WHY GET TESTED?

This testing is to catch students who may not have symptoms early. In fact we know that most children do not have symptoms. Our staff are also able to test. This is one way we are working to keep everyone safe.

MY CHILD IS SICK OR HAS BEEN AROUND SOMEONE WITH COVID-19. CAN THEY GET TESTED?

No. This testing is not for anyone who has to quarantine or isolate due to COVID-19. If your child is sick then they cannot come on-campus for any reason. This is how we keep everyone on campus safe. However please call 2-1-1 for assistance or visit our county testing sites here for more information.
