Through direct access to college courses, students will be able to jump-start their progress toward earning a college degree by completing up to three courses, the credits for which will be transferable to any university accepting UC San Diego course credits.
Attention all students! If you need help to sign-up for a free Pronto Card/bus pass, you can get help at school on Thursday, August 17th and at Open House on September 17th. All you need is a photo ID (school ID).

SHOUT OUTS
We were so excited to welcome the Class of 2029 during Freshmen Welcome Wednesday! The day was filled with community-building activities, helping our newest students connect with peers, meet staff, and get a feel for all the opportunities ahead. From interactive games to team challenges, it was inspiring to see so many students stepping up, making new friends, and starting their high school journey with energy and enthusiasm. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day special, especially our Cardi Crew leaders who showed the Class of 2029 what it means to be a Cardinal.
The Cardinals defeated Southwest SD on Friday, 40-19, to win their season opener!
Freshmen from the LEAD Academy put their hearts on their sleeves this week - thank you to all 9th graders for keeping it positive and getting into our Hoover culture! Special shout-out to Joel who participated in the sand-pouring activity. We can't wait to see you all cross the stage in 4 years!
